Women I love

This here, is a wonderful picture of the women I love. They raised me. Mom, Sista P and Sista L. They are my favorite ladies to laugh, hug, aggravate, get advice from, be sassy to, and cry with. They are so special to me.

In my next post, I'll share more pictures with more girls, the three offspring that I call "the nieces"!

First day of August

Oklahoma City in July

Wow - so for my second trip out to visit my Bear, I flew back out for the July 4th holiday. We had a great many adventures. We ventured out into the great wide open to several small towns. We visited an award winning clydesdale farm, saw a rodeo, swam in a pool in Red Rock Canyon park, visited Yukon & consumed some good BBQ. We attempted to attend an ice cream festival on the 4th and a huge storm scared us away. Most of the celebrations were cancelled b/c of the bad weather so we ate some wonderful take out and watched the History channel (geeks). We went to our first water park together and I got to see what a dare devil he was and confirmed what a chicken I am. The visit was way to short but we had a great time. Memories!

Oklahoma City in June

So last month, I went on a long road trip with my oldest sister, my bro-in-law and my nieces. We had a very smooth trip out and we watched my niece M play in a fast pitch softball tournament. While we were there, Bart and I went to the OK city memorial.

Tomorrow after church, we're headed to Mom & Dads for Easter lunch. They're having ham, chicken dumplings and lots of other goodies. I'm making green-bean casserole & I made rice krispie treats shaped as easter eggs!

Vehicle Violation

Our Jeep was broken into at my Bear's work today. No damage other than a stolen radio, old ipod & GPS was taken. I could crush the person(s) that took what they did not work for. I call it WEAK.

I was more upset that some one was in MY JEEP! Eeewhew.

They better be glad I didn't walk up on them. This red head would have opened up a can of "whoop arse" on them.

Visit with Bobbie

Saturday was a good day. I went to visit my dear friend Bobbie. We celebrated a belated birthday with a mid afternoon meal. Jen, Bobbie and I ate in Athens and caught up on conversation.

Later, after coming back to Bobbie's house, her parents stopped in and I got to meet them for the first time.

Birthday bash

My youngest niece had her Birthday party this past weekend. I was invited - whoo hoo.

We had a blast. I think she had a very happy day.
