Dear Sarah,
(Let me start with my 2 formal apologies.)
I want to begin this letter to you buy apologizing for not calling you back the last 2 times you've call. I'm sorry. There's no excuse and I've got it on my top priority list to correct this, after all I want to talk to you desperately.
Second, I've failed you in not sending you a graduation card/gift. I keep reasoning that I'll get to see you soon and that I'll express it in person. And in doing this, I have ignored it all together. Not good.
But let me say that I am so proud that your one of my closest, best friends. I am honored to know you and confided in your friendship! You're so sweet and thoughtful, and best of all, your adventurous, faithful spirit renews me each time we talk!
